ALVaTTc holds two USATT sanctioned tournaments per year (January/July) and monthly non-sanctioned club tournaments the other ten months of the year.  USATT membership is required for the two sanctioned tournaments and can be obtained through ALVaTTc.

Club Tournaments

Non-sanctioned club tournaments are normally scheduled for the 2nd Friday of each month, excluding January and July when our USATT sanctioned tournaments are scheduled. Both singles and doubles tournaments will be held and events are played in either a round robin or double elimination format. Point handicap events are designed for interactive level play via the Point Handicap System and ratings may be evaluated/adjusted after each non-sanctioned club tournament.  Doubles will be held on tables 1, 3, 4, and 6. Awards presented may vary monthly and are at ‘the Committees’ discretion. Please note that ‘club’ events start promptly 10 minutes past listed start time. Late arrivals will be placed at random nor be eligible for awards. Later than one (1) hour arrivals, will NOT be accepted. Anyone not wishing to participate in a ‘club’ tournament and the ‘one hour late’ arrivals will only be allowed to use tables as they become available, or in Room 202 ‘if and when’ it is accessible. Tables 1 and 4 will be used for quarterfinals through finals.

Fees for 'ALL non-paying' players, whether 1st time walk-ins, 'Y' members, or guests, shall pay their 'Standard' rate ‘if’ they wish to be included.
